Here's my story
When I started my business I never dreamed I would end up here. . .
After many years working in various jobs from manning the customer service phone lines at a major insurance company, selling employee benefits, to running my voice studio, where I taught students how to sing, I landed here. A photographer, educator, mentor, and coach. The road has been interesting with many twists and turns but let's just say, I have learned A LOT about how to run a business. Over 30 years of experience comes with many lessons and stories to share.
In the beginning, I had no clue how to run my photography business.
After all, this was before Facebook and online forums were just starting to be popular. There simply weren't the resources available that there are today. So I took the same lessons that I had learned in college about how to run a voice studio and applied them to my photography business.
If you look up the definition of "flying by the seat of my pants" in the dictionary, you will see my picture. I made up the rules along the way and I made a TON of mistakes. But guess what? That led me to a greater understanding of my business and it fueled my desire to help other photographers not make the same mistakes I had.
I'm on a mission...
to help other photographers and creative entrepreneurs start their businesses and see success. Success that isn't defined by someone else's vision, but by your vision of what you want your business to be.

- 15+ years running my photography studio I started as a newborn and family photographer and now specialize in branding and headshots. I have seen it ALL!
- 7+ years teaching photographers I have taught tens of thousands of photographers worldwide how to run successful businesses over the years.
I hold my Craftsman Degree from Professional Photographers of America and am certified in the areas of Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, and Content Management.
